<description>March may be less rainy than you expect, like everywhere, the weather is changing there. I finished a 6 month stay in early April 2005, and it was definitely Spring!!

We just returned from a 3 week stay - for me the SHORTEST stay in many years.

The exchange rate is horrendous, perhaps that will improve before your trip.

I&#039;d be interested in hearing about your apt. I normally rent a longer term apt, usually in the 15th, because I like to avoid the touristy neighborhoods. This time SO insisted we stay in the 5th (he hasn&#039;t been to Paris in years!) - bad, bad, bad idea. Very $$ dumpy apt in the loudest possible area - all night.

And suddenly, Paris is back on a sanitation binge - the trash/recycling/street washing and sweeping guys come by every day - 4 separate rounds, beginning at 4 am.

Paris has never been so darned clean :)
