Lourmarin

This is my favorite view of my favorite place. It’s so much more intimate than the usual views of the village, yet instantly recognizable if you know it, because of the clock tower and the Catholic Church tower. And I love the way the pathway seems to draw me in.

No, I know the one you’re thinking about, the one that goes in by the mini-golf and the vegetable gardens. This path goes out to a house on the edge of the meadow behind the protestant church.

Oh my, Chris! That path is lovely. Lourmarin is enchanting. I’m glad you are blogging again – so many blogs, so little time! I could be wrong, but I think we walked this path one night after dinner – does it come in from the highway?
