I failed to write down what variety the beans were and now I can't remember! Blue lake? I was surprised that some seem to be flat, because I'm sure I didn't have any romano seeds. They also seem too tender to be romanos.

I pruned the rose bush back even more and moved a little step ladder into position this morning. That should work.

They were fantastic with tarragon. I'm looking forward to having enough to make an entire meal of them!

I have a small step ladder that I use at times to get to the top of our beans. What variety are they? Are they a Romano or Musica type? I can't wait for mine but it will be a while. They are haven't yet started to bloom.

tarragon!

I had never had beans with tarragon until I went to a great restaurant in Ottawa and was blown away by the flavour combination.

MMMMM

Guess what I am having tonight, now?
