Thank you, but I had to chuckle at the “well planned” comment. I have more than my share of chaos and accidents in the garden (I try not to include them in the photos!), but some parts are finally falling into place after more than 20 years here. I’d love to see photos of your garden–I can never get enough of other peoples’ gardens either!

Chris, it is all beautiful and so well planned. I have a tiny, city garden and no more space but would love to have a vegetable plot like yours. From my kitchen window, I can see the neighbor’s empty back yard. He has told me to “go for it”. Perhas this fall I will construct the frames and plant a cold weather crop.

I adore other folks’ gardens – always inspirational.

That is such a pretty spot! We have two fountains (front and back), so when the kids are at school and the house is quiet, I love to open the doors and just listen to the water.

It gets full morning sun, but shade later in the afternoon.

It does get warm there. I’ve already noticed that area is much warmer than when the stucco wall was a rickety old wood fence.

I’ve lost a bougainvillea or two over the years by not being vigilant and protecting them when frost was forecast. Maybe that warm wall will help keep them warm in winter too!

You’ll have a wonderful vista for breakfast. I was curious what you were going to plant. What type of sun does it get I showed it to George and he thought it might pretty warm with the stucco wall. The bougainvilleas will perfect.
